Description: Responsibilities:
Work with 1st level application support to user problems, both hardware and software related
Escalate problems as necessary to 3rd level support
Invoke support from other IT teams as necessary
Assist with implementation of corrective actions
Assist with all operation tasks for PC's and Servers which are not corporate IT supported
Work with corporate IT to certify new / updated PC hardware and software
Engineering IT experience preferred. Exposure to SmartPlant 3D very helpful

Knowledge / Experience:
Experience operating Windows platforms in a corporate enterprise environment
Experience keeping a global, 1000+ user, 2-Tier application operating successfully
Knowledge of hardware (Server, Desktop, Network) as it relates to application performance.
Sufficient knowledge across the IT space to be able to collaborate with multiple IT support teams (server, storage, network, active directory, backup, securtiy, etc)
Ability to configure and manage multiple Windows O/S (Windows 7, Windows 2003, etc)
Ability to troubleshoot application issues, both functionality and performance, across the range of IT environments, from PC to network to Server

Tool knowledge:
Tools used in the Windows environment, such as:
System Internals tools
Performance monitor
Event log
Microsoft Management Console snap-ins

Strong analytical / troubleshooting IT skills
Must be able to work in a global team environment (lots of remote interaction)
Enthusiasm to learn new subjects, self starter
Effective in knowledge sharing

Experience with Intergraph's SP3D modeling software
Experience with EPC (Engineering Procurement Construction) tools and work-processes
